Salicylic Acid Ointment 18%w/w. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic medication that aids the removal of the external layer of the skin and increases skin hydration. It also acts as an antiseptic by virtue of its action against bacteria and fungi.

Salicylic Acid Ointment cream is useful for treating warts and corns as it can soften the hardened external skinu layer. The ointment also benefits those suffering from dandruff and acne as it has antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Salicylic acid functions as a peel agent and helps to rid the skin of dead skin cells while also cleansing oily skin.
Salicylic acid causes the skin to shed dead cells from its top layer by increasing the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolving the "cement" between the cells. This makes it easier to shed the skin cells, softens the top layer of skin, and decreases scaling and dryness.

Apply the cream topically on the affected skin area.
